What started as a shared love for good food and long meals with friends slowly turned into something more. Paella was always at the center: cooked outdoors, shared generously, bringing people together around one pan. For us, it was never just about the recipe, but about the moment it creates.
Artur used to be a chef, bringing patience and precision to every paella. Marta is from Spain, bringing intuition, fire, and the belief that food should feel like home. Together, we combine tradition, fresh ingredients, and a lot of heart to create paella meant to be shared.
Our business was born from the joy of seeing people gather, talk, laugh, and come back for seconds. When we cook for you, you’re not just getting a meal—you’re sharing a table with us.
Meet Marta & Artur
Marta
I’m Marta, originally from Barcelona.
I moved to Australia nine years ago and discovered the vibrant world of food markets while living in Sydney, where I started working in the food stall industry.
That experience inspired us to create Amar Paella & Churros here on the Sunshine Coast. I love being surrounded by people, my family, my dog and my little one Nico.
Artur
I’m Artur, Marta’s partner in life and in this adventure. I’m originally from Poland and have been living in Australia for more than 20 years.
I have over 15 years of experience working in kitchens, and I love sharing that knowledge through the food we create. I’m the calm one behind the scenes, making sure every dish is cooked with care and quality.
